[picture] The Milhauds attend a Halloween concert at the Mills College Student Union on October 31, 1966. In Hallo (A Conversation Piece) by Tape Center director Pauline Oliveros, the lights were turned on and off by a violinist who walked through the room interrupting light beams. He also stood on a table and played "a taped duet with himself while the pictures had him drowning in Lavoris," according to the Chronicle. The concert also included a grisly baroque work called The Gall-Bladder Operation.
