Synch is a new performance group comprised of Chris Brown, Tom Nunn, Chuck Thurston and Ed Tywoniak. The debut performances of this ensemble took place last month in San Francisco. The music involves a non-hierarchical improvisational structure used to score the multi-image projections of visual artist Chuck Thurston.
...
Chuck Thurston became involved with visual media as a painter but has since been exploring the use of computerized multi-projections as a means of layering and juxtaposing imagery. Chuck is on the faculty of San Francisco City College where he teaches multi-image production.
