. . .

Hum-Evangel King I developed the material for this piece over a year's time of attending experimental music performances. I kept a notebook in which I wrote and drew while I listened and watched. "Hum" is based on my perception of the emotional and physical relationship between the performer, the electronic/computer instruments and the sounds that are produced. The title refers to the ever present 60Hz drone of appliances. This is a modern sound we all have intimate relationship with.
