FLAGYLL: Computer music for the Microchip Mind (Slithering Disc, 484 lake Park Ave., Suite 142, Oakland, CA 94610) Some exercises for computer that sound very computerized and which I find not to be too involving, except perhaps from a technical standpoint. The addition of vocal tracks to 2 pieces adds a little interest. "Bloodletting," with snotty female poet, is appropriately annoying. "Twelve Toe Piece" (get it?) is piercing and "20th century classical" sounding. Ho hum. -JF
