'Sunset Debris', 'CC/BTWT', and 'North American Service' are excerpts from a large unfinished work entitled 'Power and Light'. "Power and Light' is the composition resulting from on-going research into the phenomenon called sonoluminescence. Sonoluminescence occurs when molecules are subjected to intense ultrasonic waves. The air molecules implode, giving off weak flashes of light. 'Power & Light' attempts to replicate this phenomenon throughout the sound spectrum. This is a scientifically unsound but aesthetically pleasing idea. The method used to achieve this state might include the use of a micro-computer and various homebrew electronic gear as a tool for real-time acoustical analysis.
The Automata Caste are a subset of 'Power & Light'. They are the interludes between the larger pieces.
'In Memoriam - Sgt. Rock (Elements with Mask)'. Indiscreet injections of the vernacular into formal processes.
'Idle Talk' is the abstract for 'Power & Light'. Electronic devices are reconfigured to create the illusion of real space.
'Untitled'. Real-time spectral compaction and compression of subliminal information.
