les salons vides....continues in October with a series of four Sunday afternoon performances by Jack Briece, Jim Rosenberg, Sybl Chickenmint-Jan Pusina, and Jim Nollman.
Sunday, October 7, will be a performance designed by Jack Briece for television receiver and speakers in an intimate space, wandering: before completion of peace has a duration from sunrise to sunset although the performance is available to the public only in the afternoon,
Sunday, October 14, Jim Rosenberg will install his poetic environment Temporary Poetry 10/73 (A World Space).
Sunday, October 21, the afternoon begins at les salons vides...and continues at Nanny Goat Hill: Sybl Chickenmint with technical assistance by Jan Pusina, performs A Drama of Little Machines, the afternoon then continues at Nanny Goat Hill with a performance by Jan Pusina of Decay: Smallest Quanta of Action for synthesizer and pre-recorded tapes.
The final afternoon of the series, October 28, Jim Nollman will perform his round choral music: The Song of Hoon I Kwak.
les salons vides...is free to the public but attendance is limited. Each of these afternoons begins at 2:00pm at 69 Central Avenue, San Francisco. The third afternoon, Sunday the 21st, continues at Nanny Goat Hill, 3893 24th Street, San Francisco, at four. For information phone: 552-3410.
